In general, root canals have a bad rep. I wasn’t looking forward to mine even though Dr Varella said they would make me as comfortable as possible. But my anxiousness was all for nothing. From start to finish, I felt nothing. Dr V continued to check if I was doing ok and I was fine. It seemed like it only took about 30 minutes (although it did was probably closer to an hour). After heading home, i had no pain during the rest of the day or the next day - didn’t even need to take any meds. I very much appreciate Dr V and his staff for making my procedure so easy and comfortable. I would highly recommend them!

Highly skilled and knowledgeable staff, able to explain and assist with understanding treatment and recovery as well as any billing questions or concerns very well. A root canal is never a fun experience, but Dr Varella made it about as good as it gets!

The best dental experience I have ever had.I went in feeling very apprehensive.I was put at ease immediately by Amber at the front desk.Amber was expert at letting me know how the insurance and payments would work for me.Then Divina put me even more at ease.Finally,Dr Varella explained each step that was to occur assuring me that I would feel no pain.He told the truth.I am so happy with the way I was treated from start to finish.I am also happy with the whole staff and my procedure.If I need another procedure requiring an endodontist ,I most definitely will go back to Dr. Varella.

First root canal, and was dreading it. Had a very positive experience with Dr. Varella and his wonderful staff. Amber at the front desk is friendly, professional and gives you advance notice of your bill which is appreciated. Divina who assists during the procedure is friendly and highly skilled. And Dr V is nice and most importantly knows what he is doing.. everything healed quickly, no fuss. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Would highly recommend this friendly, professional office.

I had numerous extremely painful issues with a tooth for many years following a root canal that was performed in another state. My new dentist here in Florida recommended and referred me to Dr. Varella‘s office for 3-D imaging and re-treatment of a root canal. She said he was the best and highly regarded and now I understand why! From the moment I stepped in and was greeted by Amber (who is phenomenal) the staff made me feel beyond comfortable and confident that I was in the right place to get help with a long-term, complicated issue. Dr. Varella found and helped resolve multiple issues so I could save my tooth. He removed FOUR broken files (from the original procedure, not his doing). Dr. Varella is bright, gentle, calm, reassuring and simply the best at what he does. The entire staff (Amber, the assistants, Dr. Varella) are simply top notch. I cannot rate them high enough and will recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Varella & staff are awesome, professional, knowledgeable, efficient, lite touch with little to no pain and went the extra mile by staying late twice to help me. I had a root canal around 20 years ago. Missed a root which lead to Facial Cellulitis. Really nasty infection. Not only did they see me immediately after my Dentist called and a few days later worked me into their very busy schedule (worked late again). I had a vacation planned which only gave Dr. Varella a small window to work with and he did not disappoint. I have been to many Endodontics before; however I will always go back to Dr. Claudio Varella.

It may be hard to imagine how getting a root canal would be considered a positive experience, but I have to say that it was positive in every way! There is such a sense of professional expertise and trust from everyone at Varella Endodontics, and every aspect of this practice is top notch. Dr. Varella, Amber, Divina, Beatriz--from the people to the environment to the excellent skill of Dr. Varella, this is an incredible professional group. Highly recommend and so glad that I know them!

A most excellent experience. Dr. Varella explained everything and made sure I had no questions or concerns about the procedure. He even reached out to my husband to introduce himself and answer any questions and to reassure him. He also called that evening to check on me. I can’t say enough about how comfortable the whole staff made me feel and made sure I was in no discomfort during the procedure. In essence, a painless process and they worked hard to allay any fears or apprehensions before, during, and after the procedure.
