I recently had my first root canal performed by Dr. Varella. Dr. Varella and his staff were SO amazing and made the experience EXTREMELY comfortable. Everyone was extremely professional and the care of service was outstanding! One of the Dental Assistants named Heather assisted Dr. Varella during the root canal. They were both incredibly sweet and made sure I was comfortable the entire time and made the experience amazing. Throughout the root canal Dr. Varella continuously made sure I was comfortable and walked me through every single thing he was doing. Afterwards he explained everything in great detail and even gave me his personal phone number to call if I had any discomfort or concerns. I was terrified to go through with this procedure and Dr. Varella and his staff made it an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Dr. Varella and his staff. I am giving them 5 out of 5 stars but if I could give them 100 out of 100 I would! Thank you Dr. Varella, Heather and the rest of the staff!

Went in today to get a root canal done. I have never had a root canal before. It was painless and and quick!. Dr. Varella is awesome...very polite with exceptional compassion for his patients. The staff is awesome. I felt like I had known them for a long time . Everyone there is so nice. They made me feel welcomed and answered all of my questions. This is the place to go if you need a root canal done you will not regret it and the procedure was painless. I highly recommend Dr. Varella and his staff...you will not be disappointed ! Thank you again. And thank you to Aspen Dental in the Jax/Orange park area for referring me.

Dr. Varella and his staff were simply fantastic. I had to have an emergency root canal and they agreed to take my case at the end of the day....for them after hours! They promptly handled my registration, were courteous and professional throughout. Dr. Varella did a fantastic job identifying the problem (I thought it was a different tooth!!) and explaining everything that had to happen. I have had root canals in the past and dreaded the molar version as my previous experience was quite painful. He got right to work and handled this quickly and without ANY problems. It was a three canal tooth and one with a significant curve to it....none of that was a problem. I had absolutely NO PAIN with the procedure or in the days after. Job well done Doc! Oh, and the office space was beautiful as well!!!

During the time of quarantines and social distancing, this office went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. I needed an emergency root canal and they were able to get me in within 45 minutes of my phone call. Amber had all of my insurance, paperwork, and information plugged in before I walked through the door. All of her ink pens were sanitized as well! 😉 Heather did a fantastic job making sure to answer any questions I had and keeping the place sanitized. They had protection over all the equipment, even the computer keyboard & mouse!😂 Dr. Varella made sure to explain the process thoroughly and I had one of the easiest root canals ever. I was very fortunate to find him and his staff, as I will need another root canal in the coming months (stay away from soda, kids!)

Dr. Varella is the real deal. He's professional, smart and compassionate! He immediately diagnosed the cause of my dental pain and took the proper corrective actions to eliminate the source. His bedside manners before, during and after the procedure eliminated my fears and earned my trust. Dr. Varella took great care in explaining every detail of the procedural process and demonstrated his commitment to not performing anything unnecessary. His staff exhilarated the same characteristics as their leader, offering care, comfort and compassion. Although it was my first visit, I felt like family. This is the BEST dental visit ever!! It was so painless until I didn't realize the procedure was complete!!

I went to Varella Endodontics for a root canal. Going in for dental work is probably my least favorite thing to do, but I was immediately put at ease by Dr. Varella and his wonderful staff. I have had nothing but amazing experiences at Dr. Varella's office. The entire staff is wonderful. Amber is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable with scheduling and insurance issues. Dr. Varella is extremely professional with incredible bedside manners! He was so gentle during my procedures...I didn't feel anything which is great! Dr. Varella and his assistant took their time to make sure I was comfortable and informed of the procedure every step of the way. I highly recommend this practice!
