I had a root canal by Dr. Varella for a cracked tooth yesterday and today I feel like a million bucks! The experience was absolutely perfect! Dr. Varella is an excellent Endodontist and his staff is just great! They all made me feel completely comfortable with the process, were very friendly, and treated me with kindness and compassion, and let me understand all aspects of the process, which was very important to me since I had never had a root canal before. I am so grateful and I give Dr. Varella and his practice and staff my highest recommendation!

Anyone that knows me, know that I have a terrible fear of going to the Dentist. Let me tell you “This practice” is amazing. The staff was very nice and made me feel at ease. Five Star Service all the way! I presented myself as an extremely anxious patient who is very hard of hearing (I took out my hearing aides so I wouldn’t hear the noise of the drill…it freaks me out!) So, being that Dr. Varella and his assistant, Heather, are both soft spoken, they reassured me that they would speak louder..no problem. My anxiety regarding the procedure was lowered when Dr. Varella offered me nitrous to keep me calm. That, in addition to his continual caring approach made for a great “root canal experience”! My thanks to Dr. Varella and his staff for addressing my concerns and for providing professional, friendly, compassionate dental care with a great sense of humor! If you are in need of a root canal Varella Endodontics is THE place to go!

Dr. Varella calmed my nerves and helped me through the whole process after I walked in absolutely terrified to get my root canal done. He did a phenomenal job with the shots; I legitimately did not feel them. He was extremely professional but also kind and personable. The entire staff was helpful and did everything they could to put your mind at ease and take care of you while I was in their care. While I hope to not be in pain from a root canal again, I will gladly go see him if I am!

Nothing is fun about a dental emergency. Dr. Varella and his wonderful staff took the greatest care of me with no pain during the root canal or after. He is a remarkable endodontist who has a passion for being the best. Truly amazing and I highly recommend him.

Its never a good thing to need a root canal, however if you do I can highly recommend the staff and Dr Varella! They make the procedure as pleasant as possible and will inform you with each step of the procedure. His assistant Divina was especially pleasant and helpful throughout my visit.

I don’t think many people are prompted to rave about a root canal experience, but I’m telling you, Dr. Varella and team are simply amazing! I wish they did more than just root canals and I could get all my dental services there because they are so professional, kind, skilled, efficient, and just all-around awesome!

Overall I can’t say enough positive things about this office. Most medical or dental offices do not have this friendly or kind office staff. Dr Varella and his girls deserve more then 5 stars I’d give them 10 or more

Dr. Varella was very pleasant and professional. He was concerned with my comfort throughout the procedure. The office is clean and beautifully decorated. I walked in nervous to have my first ever root canal, but I left with very little initial pain and feeling satisfied with my overall experience. However, once my normal swelling and pain from the procedure subsided, I realized the initial nerve pain I went in with was still very much present. In other words, there was no improvement after the root canal. I went back for a follow up and was faced with an annoyed Dr. Varella who became short-tempered and impatient with me during the exam when he couldn't figure out the issue. I was told to give it several months, as the pain may take time to naturally subside. Well, it never did subside and I'm still living with the same pain I had before having had the root canal. Due to my follow-up experience, I decided not to return.

Dr. Varella puts you at ease, is soft spoken & explains everything clearly. He has a sense of humor! The ladies in the office are professional, courteous and caring. The waiting area is very attractive, a relaxing atmosphere.
