My dentist referred my to Varella Endodontics for a root canal. After xrays Dr. Varella determined I did not need one, and that he could just replace a filling. He conferred with my dentist first, then did the procedure. The outcome was great. No more sensitivity, and he saved me a lot of $$! The staff was patient and pleasant throughout. I would highly recommend his services.

I have had root canals before, but the experience with Dr. Claudio Varella was unique. Not only was the procedure painless, but it was conducted with compassion and kindness. I was amazed when it was all over, and would recommend this erudite and caring professional to anyone, especially those who are squeamish, as I am. I was so impressed with meeting Dr. Varella. He and his staff are EXCEPTIONAL. I made an appointment due to severe pain I was experiencing and I had never had a root canal previously. I was very apprehensive but Dr. Varella explained the root canal process to me. Then, he made time the same day to provide two root canals due to may pain level. Every step of the process, he explained what would occur next. He and his staff went 'Above and Beyond' to make sure I was comfortable during the entire visit. I can't thank Dr, Varella enough. If you need a root canal, Dr. Varella is the absolute BEST!

I have had several root canals in my lifetime and no one compares to Varella Endodontics. If you ever need a root canal, you owe it to yourself to choose Dr. Varella. He is absolutely the BEST!!

FRONT DESK IS RUDE SHE DONT KNOW HOW TO PROCESS THE PAPER WORK AND THEY HAVE BEEN GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND SINCE NOV OF LAST YEAR . THEY CHARGED ME ALMOST 600$ AND STILL HAVNT DONE THE CLAIM ON MY INSURANCE AND EVERYTIME I CALL ITS AN EXCUSE. THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING.FRONT DESK KATE ALSO MADE A COMMENT THAT "IF I DID GET A REFUND IT WOULDNT BE MUCH OF ANYTHING " . EXCUSE ME MISS I GOT IT LIKE THAT . BUT I DONT ANY REFUND IS ALOT TO ME . I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU ALL BUT I WORK FOR MY MONEY . NEVER GO THERE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO PLEASE.

Got a root canal done & experience no pain whatsoever thru the entire process and during after care. Everyone was very professional and calming. He explained to me on my x-rays exactly what was going on so i was kept informed.

I was very impressed with all aspects and will certainly return if more dental work is needed in the future. The office staff, assistants, and Doctor were all totally professional, but still very warm in regard to how I was treated. Everything was explained before, during, and after my procedures, as well as all aspects of my insurance coverage. I absolutely recommend Dr. Varella and his staff.

While I know that Dr Varella is extremely competent and a very good endodontist, the front office representative is not a pleasant first impression. While she eventually becomes a fair representation of the dentist, the first impression is extremely off-putting. It seems pretty clear you are just annoying her and she wants to address your concerns when she finds it convenient. Also, and more importantly a deciding factor in my rating, I was promised adjusted pricing on my root canal because of prep work done by my general dentist in advance. Even Dr Varella himself winked and told me "we will take care of you, don't you worry.". When it came time to make good on these promises, no shock she acted as if I was completely making it up and hearing what I wanted to. In the end, there was no allowance made for the assurances from both the general dentist at Aspen Dental and Dr Varella himself. I was made to pay full price, upwards of $600. I was only offered the option to pay two checks, both postdated within 30 days of each other, starting the day of the procedure. I asked her to run my secondary insurance and she said if they accept it I am not allowed to have the two payments. I struggled to come up with the money and begged her to work with me... Absolutely refused then just didn't return my calls. I have had to wait 6 months because she refused to work with me in any way which I intend to chew the doctor's ear over in two weeks when I finally can pay for the procedure. I do not think it is ok to assure someone you are going to work with them to their face then completely and unapologetically refuse to do so all while insinuating they are making it up. Bottom line .... Very good dental work and skilled, kind dentist but the reception leaves A LOT to be desired.
